My wife and I were visiting Manta, Ecuador (16-25 March) when we were entangled in the COVID-19 pandemic. Ryan Kelly greatly assisted us by keeping us updated on a daily (sometimes hourly) changing of local and provice travel restrictions, use of his attorney for legal advice (at no cost) while in country, securing important printing of legal documents used for ground transportation and assisted us with a driver to take us to the airport to exit the country. Ryan reassured us while we were there by keeping in constant contact via telephonic and messaging that he initiated with us. Although we never had the opportunity to meet Ryan fate-toface and to discuss areas and properties to live, our priority (as well as his) at that time was to help us coordinate/plan our immediate exit from Ecuador. We spoke on the phone with Ryan before coming to Manta and when we arrived he had a whole series of properties to show us that met exactly what we were looking for. Ryan and his team met us at the airport, helped us with a hotel booking, and spent two+ days driving us around the area to view properties. We ended up purchasing a new condo and have absolutely no regrets. We used an attorney suggested by Ryan to help with the closing, while we were back in the states, and on our return everything was completed exactly as outlined. Ryan, his wife Tiffany, and their associate Victor, were always quick to respond to questions and really helped us feel comfortable with our investment in a foreign country. Ecuador Shores Realty is professional, attentive and honest. In Ecuador real estate it is very difficult to find all 3, let alone any of those. I have worked with them on 3 different deals, and had all my expectations not just met, but surpassed. Their team brings North American standards to the marketplace, which no other realtor currently does. Other agents just want to show you property they can earn full commission on and not show you all the listings in the area. ESR is the only agency that wants to work with other local realtors to find the best property to fit your needs, for they pride themselves on their reputation over making a quick buck, which is rare down here.

Ryan, Tiffany and Victor warmly welcomed us on our first day in Manta. They took the time to get to know us and our wants before even looking at any properties. Ryan got us hooked up with a newer condo we could rent for a month for less than our hotel was going to cost for 2 weeks. They arranged for us to meet a local attorney who we really liked (she lived in Ohio as a university student) to discuss residency requirements. They also got us together with Juan the best taxi driver/guide we've ever had. Needless to say we bought a brand new, never lived in condo and Ryan got us a deal we're happy with. Then Tiffany went shopping with us to help pick out furniture. Talk about full service, they really are the best.
